Ujjwal Bharati is one of the main front runners of the present generation in Banaras Gharana, in India. Born in a family, which was deeply associated with Indian Classical Music, he was quite responsive to get into the same business. As curious as he always was regarding the percussion, he finally struck the note with the primary Indian Percussion- Tabla. In his formative years, he had first learnt from Sri Madan Mohan Kahar for five years and finally, at the age of twelve he went under the tutelage of the Legendary Tabla Maestro and Great Guru Pandit Kumar Bose. His progress and dedication made him a 'Ganda Bandh Shishya' of Pt. Bose very soon.
